In Ross' class, you will be encouraged to take an ease-filled approach to your practice, teasing into your boundaries but not forcing past your edge. Ross weaves in the breath at almost every stage in the practice with preliminary breath-work and an emphasis on connecting with the breath during the postures. Rather than getting into a posture and holding it, each posture has a slow pulse action allowing you to come away from your edge before moving back into it in time with the breath. Life is pulsing all around us and linking up to the breath in this way links us up to the pulse of life, nature, and ultimately, ourselves.
