Melanie was originally drawn to yoga for the physical benefits, but quickly felt a deep connection to the mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions of the practice. Her classes are inspired by different yogic techniques and traditions throughout the world, and she has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to teach and learn throughout Canada, Australia, and India.
Her classes focus on flowing through creative movement with breath, to find a deeper connection to our bodies and the present moment. She approaches yoga light-heartedly, encouraging students to explore aspects of mindfulness and yogic philosophy in a playful and relatable manner.
