Ara teaches slow hatha flows and the quiet postures of yin and restorative yoga. Her classes weave in breath and meditation techniques to support the mind resting in the present. Ara enjoys teaching students how to use the system of yoga to:
- 1. meet themselves where they are (body, mind and spirit)
- 2. create a yoga practice that supports their body and their life
- 3. take this awareness off the mat - finding perspective and balance with greater ease at home, work, alone & with others
Ara has been practicing and teaching yoga for almost 20 years and is a yoga teacher, continuing education provider and teacher trainer with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500 & YACEP). She has 5000 + hours of training and teaching experience in hatha, yin, restorative, vinyasa flow, meditation, anatomy, kundalini, prenatal, qigong, and reiki.
