Back-to-basics yoga
Building a strong foundation from the start is key to longevity in yoga. Our back-to-basics classes are suitable for beginners and anyone wishing to build foundations in their practice. This class covers the important basics of Hatha yoga practice; postures, alignment, pranayama (breathing), mantra (chanting) engaging in a mindful practice and meditation. Emphasis is placed on building a safe, individual practice that works for you.
Suitable for everyone without injury, not suitable for pregnant ladies. Class size is limited, registration is advisable.

Hatha I
Traditional hatha yoga, with a focus on breath and moving through postures slowly to build the mind-body relationship, open up the body, release tension and establish good foundations in practice.
Suitable for everyone, please advise the teacher if you are a beginner or have any health issues prior to class.
Hatha II
Faster-paced hatha yoga, with transitions and a focus on building strength in the body though core work, weight-bearing and more advanced postures.
Suitable for everyone with some knowledge or experience of yoga, please advise the teacher if you are a beginner or have any health issues prior to class. Pregnant ladies in the first trimester is fine, please consult with us after this time.
Kundalini
A powerful dynamic system of yoga combining breath, movement, stretching, postures, mantra and meditation. It’s energetic and fun, and can bring fast results through dedicated practice. It was brought to the west in the 60s by Yogi Bhajan and offers profound health benefits and tools to heal your life. Classes are taught in kriyas (sequences) and are usually followed by a deep relaxation and a meditation. Headcoverings are optional - natural fibres are best.
Kundalini 'energiser' is a short lunchtime class, designed to get the body moving quickly and work out the strains & stresses of the workday.
Suitable for everyone. Please advise the teacher if you are a beginner or have any health issues prior to class. Pregnant ladies in the first trimester is fine, not advisable after this time without extensive prior experience.
One-to-one Yoga/Private sessions
We offer one-to-one sessions for individuals looking for help with any aspect of yoga and wellness, whether it be breathing, meditation, or postures, at any level. We can help you find a practice that works for you as an individual, deepen your experience, and get more out of regular classes. Please email us for info or ask at the desk.
Prenatal yoga

Our prenatal yoga classes are designed specifically for moms-t0-be. Focusing on gentle stretching, strength-building, flexibility, breath awareness, deep relaxation and sharing with other moms.
Qigong
Qigong is the ancient practice of aligning breath, movement, and focused attention for healing and meditation. Its roots are in Chinese medicine, martial arts and philosophy. This fusion class starts with a 10 minute meditation and takes you through subtle movement and breathwork for a class which is gentle and easy to follow but works deeply to help you connect to your Qi (chi or life force). Qigong is said to have anti-aging benefits and can bring healing, strength and balance to your mind, body and spirit. Sundays at 11am.
Suitable for everyone. Advise the teacher beforehand if you have any medical issues.
Restorative
Comforting, supportive, releasing and relaxing. Restorative yoga allows the body and mind to completely let go in supported postures using blankets and bolsters. Many stress-relieving benefits, including the possibility of reducing high blood pressure and stress-induced disorders. Suitable for absolutely everyone. Advise the teacher beforehand if you have any medical issues.
Stiff folks/gentle yoga
Slow & very gentle hatha-based class for those who are challenged in traditional yoga classes. Work to relieve stiff joints and muscles, and support all kinds of mobility issues. Lots of modifications and props available to those who need them.
Suitable for beginners and everyone else. Advise the teacher before class of any physical/mobility issues. Pregnant ladies in the first trimester is fine, not advisable after this time.
Yin
A wonderful way to release tension and really stretch out the body. Postures held for longer periods of time than in other hatha yoga classes. Yin yoga focuses on releasing connective tissue, and often involves the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Although Yin yoga can be challenging in itself due to the depth of the practice, it is an excellent complement to more active forms of yoga.
Suitable for everyone. Pregnant ladies who have previous yoga experience must get permission to practice yoga and inform us before class. No beginner expectant mums please :-)
Yoga Nidra
The ‘yogic sleep’, Yoga Nidra is an ancient form of meditative relaxation which takes you to the point between consciousness and sleep where deep healing and significant positive changes can take place. It can help you overcome stress-related disorders and physical problems such as asthma, insomnia, hypertension, digestive disorders and depression. We’ll do some warm up movements to relieve tension and loosen up the body and then you lie in Savasana (on your back) and follow the teacher’s words through a guided meditation and visualisation. Taught in the Bihar School tradition.
Suitable for absolutely everyone.
